The skills and strategic direction of non- profit organizations are one of the most important things to focus on by the executive management under the guidance of the Board of Directors, the strategy goes through several main stages (strategic analysis, strategy building, implementation and follow-up of the strategy).

Studies show that 60-90% of strategies are not implemented properly, but because of the lack of importance of strategy by executive management where studies have touched on that 85% of executive leaders spend less than one hour per month discussing strategy and its issues and 50% of them do not care to spend any time discussing it at all, this indicates that leaders care more about operational details than strategic issues through which the organization can be transferred to achieve the mission for which it was created.

The lack of discussion of strategic issues also indicates a lack of confidence in the delegation of tasks and powers to the executive team.

Strategic skills and thinking have become a requirement not only on executive management but even on the executive team but in varying proportions for the possibility of strategic alignment of individual tasks to achieve the strategic goals and objectives of the organization.

Studies show that 76% of employees spend less than 3 hours a week in strategic-related work.

It is important that the executive management of non-profit organisation to focus on strategic issues and find opportunities in order to make qualitative leaps and great contributions in the non-profit sector in general.
